During 2019 we have translated approximately 40 million words into more than 30 languages, everything from web content for social media giants and reports for the European Union to marketing stories for a high-end photographic equipment company and complex medical instructions. We have been part of many exciting projects, helping communicate and market experiences and products to Sweden, the Nordics and the rest of the world.

We have also worked hard on developing our internal processes, measuring development and proposing new changes as part of our ISO 9001:2015 certification. Earlier this year we also had the chance to share our experience of enhancing business, customer satisfaction and engagement in the company by becoming ISO certified at the GALA conference in Munich.

Machine translation has also been on the agenda. New technologies combined with AI are changing the face of our industry, and we are continuing to implement and test these technologies and trying to get better at what we do.

But the best thing about our work is the people we get to meet – our customers and partners who enrich us with their diversity. We’ve had some lovely people visiting us at our Stockholm office, and we’ve also been travelling around and meeting people, as well as talking to them online. It was great to work with you all this year!

We are closing our office for a well-deserved Christmas break from 24 December until 2 January. All requests received between these dates will be affected and will be processed as soon as possible once we’ve returned on 2 January 2020. Please also note that Monday 6 January is a local bank holiday and so our office will be closed.

Our Christmas gift for 2019 is a donation to the Swedish Red Cross and their important humanitarian work around the world. The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is the largest humanitarian network in the world. Its mission is to alleviate human suffering, protect life and health, and uphold human dignity, especially during armed conflicts and other emergencies.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
